Client Permissions Management on Solutions Provider Portal (SPP)

Grant MerchantSpring access to your Amazon account securely using the Solutions Provider Portal (SPP) with this step-by-step guide.

This guide outlines how to grant MerchantSpring secure access to your Amazon Seller Central account through the Solutions Provider Portal (SPP). Following this workflow ensures compliance and enables MerchantSpring to support your account effectively. Please follow the steps below to complete the setup.

Prerequisites:

Before you begin, you need:

  • To ensure you are already registered as a Service Provider on SPP

Benefits:

  • Global user permissions workflow will enable you to request for and gain access to seller account data in a compliant and secure manner
  • Client permissions obtained through this workflow will authorize your primary spp account for accessing their seller central account with permissions they choose to grant you
  • You can use this workflow to manage your client permissions, delegate these permissions to Employees in your company
Instructions:
  1. The seller needs to initiate the process of granting you account to account authorizations by signing in to seller central using their primary account and visiting the global user permissions page


  2. Once they are on the page, the seller needs to visit the "Authorized partners" tab and select the option that says "Add authorized partner


  3. This will generate a url that the seller can share with you. Please click on this url to accept the invitation


  4. You can accept the invitation by signing in to seller central, using your existing seller central credentials. Please open a new browser and paste the url you received from your client


  5. This will bring you to a page where you can send an invitation for the client to authorize you for specific permissions


  6. This will bring your client to the user permissions page. They would need to visit the global user permissions hyperlink.


  7. The seller can select the authorized partners tab and visit the "Open invitations" page


  8. The seller will then need to accept your invitation


  9. Once accepted, they can proceed with providing the permissions that you would need for the service engagement
