Does MerchantSpring support the latest Amazon ad formats?

Learn whether MerchantSpring supports different Amazon advertising formats and how advertising data is retrieved.

MerchantSpring supports advertising performance reporting based on the data available through Amazon Advertising APIs. These APIs provide campaign-level metrics for the advertising formats that Amazon exposes to third-party applications.

Because Amazon controls which datasets are available through its APIs, MerchantSpring’s advertising reporting capabilities are determined by the metrics and endpoints provided by Amazon.

Common Amazon Advertising Formats

Amazon currently offers several advertising formats across its platform.

Examples include:

  • Sponsored Products
  • Sponsored Brands
  • Sponsored Display

MerchantSpring retrieves campaign metrics associated with these formats when available through Amazon’s APIs.

Advertising Data Retrieved by MerchantSpring

Depending on the campaign type and API availability, MerchantSpring may retrieve metrics such as:

  • impressions
  • clicks
  • advertising spend
  • attributed sales
  • campaign performance metrics

These metrics allow users to evaluate campaign effectiveness and advertising return on investment.

Why Some Campaign Types May Not Appear

In some cases, certain advertising features or newer campaign types may not immediately appear in third-party reporting tools.

This typically occurs when:

  • Amazon has not yet exposed the dataset through APIs
  • the campaign type uses a different reporting structure
  • additional permissions are required

MerchantSpring will incorporate additional datasets as they become available through Amazon’s developer APIs.

Notes:

  • Advertising reporting capabilities depend on Amazon API availability.
  • Some campaign features may appear first within Amazon’s native dashboards.
  • MerchantSpring updates integrations as Amazon expands API support.
