      How to connect Walmart Connect Advertising to MerchantSpring

      MerchantSpring requires your Advertiser ID to connect your Walmart Connect Advertising account and display data. You will also need to add MerchantSpring as an API Partner.

      API Partners

      An API Partner is a platform or agency that accesses Walmart Ad Center via the Sponsored Search APIs. You can add up to ten API Partners to your advertising account as you would like. Any API Partner with write access to your account can view and edit every campaign within that account. Within the Walmart Ad Center Sponsored Search platform, there are two levels of access that API Partners can have: 
        

      Access level 

      Reporting only 

      Create & edit campaigns 
       Read 
      ✓ 
       
       Write 
      ✓ 
      ✓ 

      Step 1: Adding an API Partner to your account 

      To grant MerchantSpring access to your account via the Sponsored Search API, account admins will follow this process: 

      1. Navigate to the API Partner - Advertiser Level section on the Admin page. 
      2. Click + Add Partner at the bottom of the section.

      3. In the API Partner name dropdown, scroll and select MerchantSpring.

      4. Select the level of access you wish to provide to MerchantSpring: read access, write access. MerchantSpring needs Read access.

      5. Click Add partner. MerchantSpring can now access your advertising account via the Sponsored Search APIs.

      Editing an API Partner’s access level 

      To edit an API Partner’s access level, an account admin should follow this process: 

      1. Navigate to the API Partner - Advertiser Level section on the Admin page. 
      2. Click the pencil icon (image.png) next to the API Partner you wish to edit. 
      3. Select the new access level from the dropdown. 
      4. Click Change to save your changes.

      Step 2: Get your Walmart Connect Advertiser ID

      In your Walmart Connect account, go to Admin Management. Copy your Advertiser ID.

      Step 3: Connect Walmart Connect Advertising account to MerchantSpring

      1. Login to your MerchantSpring account. Go to "+ ADD CHANNEL". Click "Advertising Channel". Select the Walmart channel associated with the Walmart Connect account or tick the box to create a standalone advertising channel. Click Next.

      2. Type the Advertiser ID then click Connect.

      3. After this screen, your Walmart Connect advertising account will be connected to the MerchantSpring and will start syncing data. Congratulations!
