How to get the Shop Channel Id, Seller Id, and API Token for Veepee/Privalia
Veepee/Privalia uses a platform called Pink Connect as a layer between the two systems (i.e.: Veepee and Privalia). MerchantSpring connects with both marketplaces via that platform.
The shop channels you see from the Pink Connect API depend on which shop you’ve chosen in the UI. This means that you can only connect one shop with one user’s API auth token at a time.
As a work around, you can either create a new user with a different API token that has access to the either the Veepee or Privalia shop you want to connect to MerchantSpring or reach out to Pink Connect support to ask if there’s a way to have multiple active shops from one user account.
To locate the credentials required:
How to get the Shop Channel ID and the API Token
- Go to the Pink Connect back-end and click Shop channels in the left sidebar.
- Click the link that appears directly below Shop channels.
- Copy the ID associated with the sales channel you are configuring on MerchantSpring. E.g.: Veepee France, Privalia Italy, etc.
- Next, click your profile name at the top bar.
- In the box that appears, click your profile name.
- Copy the value in the Token field.
How to find your Seller ID
This is available by clicking on "Settings MerchantSpring" link in the screenshot above, and getting the SellerID from the first field on the page.
Connecting Veepee/Privalia to MerchantSpring
- Log in to your MerchantSpring account.
- Click "+ADD CHANNEL" > Under Channel Type, choose Ecommerce Channel.
- Under Search for channels, type Veepee or Privalia then click it.
- Enter your Veepee or Privalia Shop Channel ID, Seller ID, and API Token. Click Connect
- Your Veepee or Privalia store will be connected to MerchantSpring and start syncing. Congratulations!
