How to suspend a user

Find out how to temporarily suspend a user’s access in MerchantSpring while retaining their seat within your account.

If you need to temporarily disable a user’s access — for example, when someone leaves the business or takes a break — you can suspend their account in just a few steps. Suspended users will immediately lose login access, but their seat remains occupied until the account is reactivated or removed.

1. Click on your user profile in the top right corner

2. Click on My Account

4. Locate the user you are looking to suspend

5. Click on the options button (...) for that user

7. This option will temporarily disable access for this user; however, they will still occupy a seat.

8. Click on I'm 100% sure I want to suspend this user to proceed

9. Click on Suspend user

10. This users access will immediately be Suspended
