 Why is my historical Purchase Order data limited?

When you connect an Amazon Vendor Central channel to MerchantSpring, we retrieve your Purchase Order (PO) data directly from Amazon through the Vendor API.

At present, Amazon typically makes approximately 6 months of historical Purchase Order data available through the API. The exact amount of history available may vary slightly.

This is an Amazon API limitation rather than a limitation within MerchantSpring. We have raised this with Amazon as a key challenge through their Vendor API feedback process. Based on the information currently available, however, we do not expect the historical data window to be extended in the near term.

Can I add older Purchase Order data to MerchantSpring?

Yes. If you have historical Purchase Order data available in Amazon Vendor Central that falls outside the period retrieved through the API, our team can help upload this data to your MerchantSpring channel.

1. Purchase Orders (PO) CSV
2. PO Items CSV

How do I request a historical PO upload?

Once you have downloaded both CSV files, email them to support@merchantspring.io.

Please include the following in your email:

• Both historical PO CSV files
• The MerchantSpring channel name where the historical Purchase Orders should be uploaded

Providing the channel name helps our team ensure that the historical data is uploaded to the correct Amazon Vendor channel.

Once we receive the files and channel details, our team can prepare and process the historical PO upload.
